Meet the Curators
Ryan is an independent singer-songwriter, audio engineer and music curator. Outside of pursuing his own music career, Ryan is passionate in discovering and sharing great new music as well as helping other creatives bring their projects to life through music. His favourite genres are pop and R&B, often listening to popular hits of the late 90s and early 2000s. He’s a first-degree black belt in karate, by the way.

Annissa is an archaeologist and museologist currently studying trade relationships between ancient states in Northeast Africa and West Africa. Her favourite genres are hip-hop, R&B, soul and jazz. Her favourite artists change but one sole constant is Sade. She can read hieroglyphics by force.

Vidhi is a Health Policy student at University of Toronto focusing on Indigenous issues. In her spare time, you’ll find her traveling outside Toronto, swatching lipsticks at Sephora and reaching any concert she can. R&B, hip-hop, indie-alternative and Afrobeats are her most listened to genres. Vidhi says Frank Ocean is her favourite artist but knows way more Drake lyrics than she should.
